Picea abies
Baltic Pine is a medium-sized softwood imported from Northern Europe. It features pale sapwood, ranging from white to light yellow, a straight grain, and small, tight knots that give it a subtle, classic appearance. Historically, Baltic Pine was widely used in Australia in the early 1900s, and many older floors now show Anobium borer marks in the sapwood.
Due to its softness, Baltic Pine is typically used for repairs or to match existing historic floors rather than as a primary flooring choice.

- More knots and grain variation, may include minor sapwood defects. Usually reserved for matching historic floors.
Rustic / Utility Grade
- Maximum natural character with visible knots, minor sapwood marks, and imperfections. Mainly used for repair or restoration work.
