Eucalyptus propiculata

The most common commercial species is Eucalyptus Paniculata. The heartwood of Grey Ironbark ranges from light grey or light brown with a red tinge at times occurring. Sapwood is slightly lighter in colour. Grey Ironbark may have various regional variations in its colour. Texture is moderately coarse and even with an interlocking grain.

Grey Ironbark is the best choice of the Australian Species for its Hardness, Durability and clean grain with very little natural features in it. A very popular Australian Hardwood.
