Our Southern Treated Pine is a species of pine originating from the Central American region, Cuba and the Bahamas and is now grown in the northern regions of Queensland. It is 30% stronger than standard pine and a lot more stable making it more suitable of external decking than native pines from Australia. It is H3 treated for external use and will outperform your standard treated pine found in most retail outlets.
